This farmhouse is located in the countryside near Lucca, in an area named 'Arsina', famous for its wine. Its unique position allows the guests to enjoy a superb view, while only 15 minutes away from the centre of town. The interiors have been painted in light colors, are comfortably furnished and preserve a distinctive Tuscan style with typical ceilings of wooden beams and traditional cotto tiled floors. The high location of the house, its efficient insulation, and the ceiling fans, installed in most of the bedrooms, ensure that the temperature at La Rocca remains comfortable even during the hottest nights of the Summer. Outdoor meals can be enjoyed on a gracious terrace, furnished for al fresco dining, looking over the surrounding valleys and hills. From the swimming pool, located on a level just above the house, stunning views can be appreciated both during the day and at night.
The location of La Rocca makes it an ideal base for guests who wish to combine a relaxing holiday in the Tuscan countryside with the possibility to enjoy day trips to the near cities of art, such as Florence, Siena and Pisa; nevertheless, the Versilian endless coast, with its night clubs and restaurants, is only half an hour away. For those who enjoy playing tennis, there is a court at only a 10 minute drive away from the property. The last part of the road leading to La Rocca is curvy and unpaved, not suitable for vans.
