  • Albergaccio: Located on the outskirts of Castellina, this place is known for its delectable offerings. The must try here is the bavette con timo e pecorino di fossa (thin noodles with tomatoes, thyme, and specially aged pecorino cheese) and gnocchi di ricotta con tartufo marzolo (dollops of ricotta with shaved truffles and thyme leaves)
  • Le Vigne: Situated on the slopes southeast of Radda, the restaurant is a must visit to enjoy your food while watching the vintners working the vines.

Entertainment and nightlife

Chianti is situated between the scenic Siena and Florence. For entertainment and nightlife head to Florence, which have many clubs, pubs and discos. In summers, all the squares in the city play host to numerous concerts and events. Siena too has its share of pubs, wine bars, restaurants and open-air coffee shops around the magnificent Piazza del Campo.
